All course material is directly relevant to and based on the classroom environment and pre-supposes that participants have an adequate level of English to participate.
The course has been designed to act as a valuable resource to all working teachers by bringing the ideas, techniques and methodology of "English Language Teaching" (ELT or TEFL) into the English Language Classroom in a completely different and innovative way.
|
The course is completly interactive. This means that you are not "talked at" but take an active role in all areas and discuss, put forward ideas and opinions, agree or disagree with what is being said etc. In many ways it is intended to act as a language forum - debating and/or critisizing - in an attempt to change the system. The modules below are there to stimulate and guide conversation - allowing all participants to share their ideas and knowledge - but at the same time work within a structured framework that is completely relevant to our work. We also get the added benefit of trying, testing and challenging all the latest theories and methodologies of TESOL.
